Thank you Kellice for stection this red poppy to comment upon. The city came along and mowed the whildflowers off to the ground last week. It was almost a tradgity in my life! I had enjoyed seeing them there so much. It was a surprise to me of how badly I felt when they were gone. The wonderful thing about photography is they can't come and mow it out of mind.

Thanks so much for your vote with your comment. We were fortunate to have some wildflowers growing along the bank of a creek that runs by the end of our street. This is one of the rich red variety.
