Artist's Description
This is a copy of a vintage 1940's photograph that has been converted into a cartoon with a blue tone. The doll cradle was made from a used wooden California orange crate. The little girl is sitting in front of an electric fire place that heated the room. I was that child. My Dad made the cradle and other furniture for my room. He made the furniture from wooden California orange crates during the second world war.
