About Linda Phelps
Linda Phelps lives in Austin, Texa s. Linda started to study the art of photography in the late 1980s. She started with the first digital camera that came on the market and continues working to improve her art. She has earned awards in local, national and international competitions. She has written tutorials and articles for the web on photography. She presented a seminar on how to make creative images in a photo convention sponsored by the Gulf Coast Camera Club Council which covers a 5 state area. Linda has a strong interest in creative photography that takes an image out of the normal range of a photograph into the realm creative images. Recently she has moved on from fine art photography to making fantastic artistic abstracts....

Hi John. Thank you for your compliment on the light. The car was siding out side on the driveway. I used a gardient to block out the distracking background. I love hopw this turned out! The subject looks so strong in the B&W. It is better than the colored one.

Thanks Larry for your kind words. I did have to bloc out the street, cars, and houses in the background. I left a little to give it the feel on sitting on the pavement instead of floating in the air.
