Description
Here is a little stingray swimming in a shallow pool in an aquarium in Auckland, New Zealand. Stingrays like the temperate shallow coastal waters. They like to half way bury themselves ion the sand were their camouflage works to protect them while they are resting. They are related to the shark family and do have a deadly poison in their tails.
